Iron Man has signed to sponsor this year’s Man Ghana Bodybuilding Competition in Ghana. This development has elicited joy as the competition has received a major boost following the announcement by giant Bodybuilding supplements dealer, Iron Man to sponsor the event slated for the Osu Presbyterian Church hall on the 7th of November.
The announcement which took place at one of the showrooms of Iron Man at East Legon, saw officials of both the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association and Iron Man in attendance.
Throwing more light on the sponsorship, Karol Wothyla, Brand Ambassador of Iron Man said that his outfit will support this year’s competition with some of their products for the winners of the various categories as well as some cash to aid with the organization of the event, one which promises to see a huge turnout this year.
He also announced that Iron Man is going to sponsor the winner of the Man Ghana Competition with an all expenses paid trip to the 2021 Arnold Classic in South Africa.
“Apart from the supplements that we will be give all the winners of the various categories, we are also going to sponsor the overall winner of the Man Ghana (Bodybuilding Category) with an all-expense paid trip to South Africa for the Arnold Classic next year”, Karol Wothyla disclosed.
President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, Abdul Hayye Yartey, and other executives present, took turns to thank Iron Man supplements for coming to the aid of the association with this package for the upcoming Man Ghana Competition.
“We are extremely happy with this move by Iron Man to come to the aid of the GBFA ahead of the Man Ghana Competition. We all know The times we are in is known to all of us. And to come out with a decision to hold the event this year, took several brainstorming by the executives because of funding”, Hayye Yartey mentioned.
“We then decided to squeeze water out of stone to make the competition a reality. And for him to come on board to give us this push, we are very grateful.”
According to him, it’s going to be a win-win situation as both parties will mutually benefit from the collaboration.
“We are going to make sure that in all our upcoming programs prior, during and indeed after the Man Ghana Competition, he will get the mileage they deserve. We are looking at bringing athletes to pass through their shops across Accra, especially the East Legon branch, to flex their muscles and pose for photos hoots and videos.
“Also we will brand the venue for the Man Ghana 2020 with Iron Man branded materials and arrange media interviews for them as well”, he added.
Both parties signed a contract to seal the deal. GBFA President, Abdul Hayye Yartey signed on behalf of the association and Karol Wothyla signed on behalf of Iron Man.
