Iliyasu Ahmed, new DPP collaborate for effective criminal justice administration

&NewLine;<p><strong>Ahmed Iliyasu&comma; Assistant Inspector General of Police&comma; AIG in charge of Zone 2 and the newly appointed Director of Public Prosecution&comma; DPP&comma; Mrs&period; Aderera Olayinka Adeyemi&comma; have promised to work together for effective criminal justice administration as part of President Buhari’s next level agenda&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p><strong>The two disclosed this commitment when the newly appointed DPP paid a courtesy visit on the AIG on Thursday 18th June 2020&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p><strong>A statement signed by Zonal Police Public Relations Officer&comma; DSP Hauwa Idris-Adamu&comma; stated that the visit was in furtherance of the collaborative efforts of the Police and the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution in ensuring justice is served&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p><strong>The AIG and members of the Zonal Police management team received the Director and her entourage in his office at the Zonal Command Headquarters&comma; Onikan Lagos&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p><strong>&nbsp&semi;In her remarks&comma; the Director commended officers of the Zonal command for the quality and proper investigation of cases and implore them to do more in the areas of Proper Police Investigation&comma; preservation of evidences and Prosecution of Offenders of gender based cases&period; The AIG in his response&comma; reiterated the commitment and readiness of the Zone to collaborate in The Administration of Criminal Justice&comma; ACJA 2015&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
