&NewLine;<p>I never thought I will be alive to mark this birthday today&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>These were the exact words of Delta State Information Commissioner&comma; Mr Charles Aniagu on the occasion of his <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wsj&period;com">birthday celebration<&sol;a> in Asaba on Monday&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Aniagu had tested positive to COVID-19 some months back&period; But he recovered speedily and resumed back at work&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>At the ceremony&comma; the Commissioner noted that he never thought he would be alive to celebrate his birthday&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I give glory to God&period; I thank you for all the prayers and supports&comma;” Aniagu however&comma; recognized representatives of <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">SMART Delta<&sol;a>&period; He appreciated the management of the Ministry of Information&comma; DBS Asaba for the initiative&comma; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Present at the event were the Permanent Secretary in the ministry&comma; Mr&period; Paul Osahor&semi; governor&&num;8217&semi;s Chief Press Secretary&period; Others were Mr Olisa Ifeajika and the Board Chairman DBS Asaba&comma; Comrade Felix Ofou&period; The list included Mr&period; Nduka Omodon&comma; Senior Special Assistant &lpar;SSA&rpar; to the Governor on Communication&comma; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Other were the Senior Special Assistant &lpar;SSA&rpar; to the Governor on Media&comma; Mr Nelson Egware&semi; the Director of Information&comma; Mr Dona Obuseh and other directors in the ministry&comma; as well as management staff of DBS Asaba&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Speaking further&comma;  Aniagu tasked the new <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service<&sol;a>&comma; Asaba Mr Francis Osabohien on teamwork&period; He emphasized the importance of team spirit as a tool for enviable heights&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The commissioner emphasized the need for females to be included in the management team&period; He stated that women have important roles to play in the affairs of any organization&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The highpoints of the event were the presentation of a portrait to the commissioner by the DBS Asaba Management and the cutting of the birthday cake&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
