OpenLife News reports that a Nigerian-American registered nurse, Bukola Akinpelu, popularly known as Nurse Sugar, has opened up on how her husband’s sexual demands led to the collapse of her marriage.

The US-based nurse made the revelation during an interview with Ifedayo Agoro, where she spoke candidly about the struggles in her former marriage.

According to her, her ex-husband persistently pressured her for threesomes during their intimate moments.

“I would say if we got intimate 10 times, he would ask 9.5 times,” Nurse Sugar alleged.

She said the requests became so frequent and exhausting that she often just agreed to avoid prolonged arguments.

“I would say yes every time that he asked. But because there was no means. Because if I didn’t say yes, it would keep going,” she said.

Nurse Sugar explained that the issue was never discussed as a healthy conversation about their sex life, but was always brought up in the heat of intimacy.

“Of every day that I’ve been humiliated in the relationship, my traditional wedding day, nothing tops it,” she said.

The nurse also spoke on conflicts between them, admitting she once held her ex-husband by his shirt during a heated confrontation, but insisted she never hit him.

She further alleged that her former husband repeatedly insulted her parents, a behaviour she said forced her to retaliate by insulting his family too.

“So if you say, ‘This and this is your mom,’ I’ll say, ‘This and this is your mom as well,’” she recounted.
