OpenLife Nigeria reports that Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, 75, popularly known as Charly Boy, has released a narrative of how the 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, surprised him with ‘hand picks’ in a Ghana Must Go Bag.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter, television presenter, actor, producer and former president of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, explained in the narrative how the gifts turned out a big surprised to him.

Below is what Charly Boy said:

My people, hear this one oh.
One night so around 1am, Peter Obi call me say, ‘My Senior bros, I wan come see you, but I no too sure if u fit don wake about the time I for like come” like what time, I asked.
‘Maybe around 5:30 or 6.’

Na so u wan disturb my early morning exercise routine and my scooter ride? I queried. Without over thinking it I said ok. Anything for my Presido.

Na so Obi come say, ‘See small thing I bring for you.’ I said, thank you sir, without even opening it.

Inside the bag was 3bottles of roasted groundnuts. Many alligator pepper, kola nuts, pawpaw, oranges, agara, mangos, bananas etc etc. wey Obi pack by himself.
