How CCECC Personnel Manager Ordered Security To Beat Us Up–Mrs Wickliffe

How CCECC Personnel Manager threw caution to the wing
OpenLife Nigeria reports that an aged woman, Mrs. Stella Temidayo Wickliffe and her two sons–Bankole and Oluwole including her brother in-law, Mr. Kayode Faderin were allegedly beaten up mercilessly on the order of the personnel manager of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, CCECC.
According to the available story, Mrs. Wickliffe said that at about 4pm on February 25, 2021, while driving her Lexus 300 saloon car, a trailer belonging to the Chinese company hit her vehicle.
She recognized the driver as Abdul Rasheed.
Knowing the gravity of the offence, Wickliffe said Abdul Rasheed resorted to begging and requested they both moved to her office for settlement and repairs which she obliged.
According to Wickliffe, “upon arriving at the company’s construction site at Alagbomeji, the Personnel Manager of the Company, (Mr. Adebayo) and his Assistant instructed the company’s security men and some thugs numbering about 10 to beat them up.
“Indeed, we were beaten to stupor for just no reason, we were prevented from recording the incident in their premises. We were assaulted, molested and brutalized with military belts, planks and woods by the security men and thugs.
One of them named, Taribo wore military fatigue, disguising to be military man,” Mrs. Wickliffe said.
Bankole and Oluwole Wickliffe have to seek for medical attention at the Hoare’s Memorial Methodist Cathedral and Clinic Yaba for injuries sustained in the course of the beaten, where they were examined, diagnosed and treated for severe injuries.
According to her, “we really suffered physical, psychological and mental torture from the company, as well as incurred huge medical bills conducting series of medical test as a result of injuries sustained from company’s security men and thugs on the order Personnel Manager and his Assistant.
Wickliffe, says she would petition appropriate authority and demand corresponding payment for the assault and brutalization meted out to them by the company’s security men and thugs.

Messages sent to CCECC by OpenLife Nigeria  for response to the allegations were not responded to before filing this report.
