Honourable Olumide Osoba, House of Representatives Member, representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency is proud of Anthony Joshua’s recent boxing victory
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the Chairman House Committee on Sports, Honourable Olumide Osoba has rejoiced with Nigerian born boxer, Anthony Joshua over his victory against Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev on Saturday night in London.
This was stated in a release from the media office of the lawmaker representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency at the lower legislative chamber.
The Reps member also praised Joshua for making the people of Ogun state and Nigerians proud.
He said ”We are happy to see another victory of our own Ogun state born Anthony Joshua over Pulev. The die hard spirit you displayed against Puyev is an attestation of your hardwork, commitment and discipline which has kept you at the top for long.
“Once again, you did not only made Ogun state proud, but proved to the world that you are the best in the Heavyweight class. We urge you not to relent in sustaining your pole position in world boxing. Keep shinning, we are indeed very proud of you.
“We wish you the very best in your profession and also encourage you to maintain the standards,” Honourable Olumide Osoba concluded
It would be recalled that Anthony Joshua knocked out Pulev in the ninth round to retain his WBO, WBA and IBF titles as the undisputed world champion.
