Hilton Signs Koko Beach Resort Into Curio Collection, Becomes First Internationally Branded Resort

Arguably rated as one of the biggest moves, Hilton has signed Koko Beach Resort Ilashe Lagos into the Curio Collection by Hilton at the African World Hotel Conference in Nairobi on 13th June 2023, marking the first internationally branded resort on Nigeria’s Atlantic coastline!

The Branding and Management Agreement (BAMA) with Hilton’s Curio Collection is for a new luxury destination in Lagos, Nigeria – Koko Beach Resort Ilashe Lagos!

Koko Beach Resort Lagos represents Hilton’s third Curio Collection property in Africa, joining the already operating Legend Hotel Lagos Airport, CurioCollection by Hilton, and the soon-to-open Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton. We look forward to welcoming guests to an authentic hospitality experience backed by Hilton’s globally recognized service at this outstanding property.”

Richie Shittu, CEO of Outposts Investment Limited and owner of Koko Beach Resort Lagos, Curio Collection by Hilton, shared his enthusiasm: ‘’Our collaboration with Hilton, a brand with over a century of hospitality expertise, will provide an unforgettable beachfront experience for our guests at this unique destination. Due to open in 2025, this 60-room luxury resort, developed with Outposts Investment Limited, is currently under construction on the pristine Ibeshe/Ikaare beach and represents a new dawn for Nigerian tourism, particularly under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s progressive regime.

With stunning sea views, private villas, diverse dining options, and an array of world-class recreational facilities and amenities, this project aims to promote domestic tourism and ease pressure on our foreign exchange reserves.
