OpenLife Nigeria reports that veteran actress and philanthropist, Halima Abubakar is set to put smiles on the faces of less privileged persons in the society under the auspices of her Halima Abubakar Foundation.
Plans are currently in top gear for the foundation's Appreciation Charity Outreach, which intends to provide free healthcare for at least 100 children, and share foodstuffs for more than 1000 disabled men and women.
The charity program is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 27 July, 2024 at PWD Emir Palace, Karonmajigi, FCT Abuja.
Halima Abubakar said the charity outreach, which is her own little way of giving back to the society, particularly at this difficult economic state of the country, will be a continuous exercise.
She therefore called for collaboration from all well-meaning Nigerians and firms in making the dream bigger.
“I'm appealing to friends, family and fans to join me in this journey to touch lives positively. We will appreciate financial support, children's medicine, clothes, toys, books and food items,” Halima solicited.
