Koroma Returns To Sierra Leone After Years In Exile
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Facebook is reportedly down as thousands of Facebook users have taken to other social media platforms to complain as they are unable to access their accounts on the Meta platform.
Some users on X are in bewilderment as their Facebook account automatically logged them out and attempts to log in proved difficult.
There are questions and speculations on the spread as to what must have caused the outage as an official statement from Meta is being expected.
The outage reportedly began at 3 pm and continues to be facing struggles for many users at the time of writing.
Reacting, a social media expert, identified as Verónica Muñoz wrote through X handle
@Ajournalistblog said:
“The social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, both owned by Meta, are currently experiencing an outage. If you are having trouble logging in, there is no need to panic, you didn’t get hacked (I panicked too).”
