Governor Yahaya Bello

OpenLife Nigeria reports, according to credible information that all is not well at Lugard House at the moment.
Lugard House is the seat of power in Kogi State.
The governor, Yahaya Bello, is said to have broken down since yesterday.
The reason, OpenLife source stated, is as a result of the released sharing of offices in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC ahead of the March 26 national convention.
“The governor almost shed tears when it finally dawn on him that his 2023 presidential interest has been knocked off for good. His eyes have been red since yesterday.
“He tried his best to manipulate the zoning of the national chairmanship of the party to north west where President Buhari hails from but he was unsuccessful.
“He has spent so much money and the whole thing practically crashed yesterday.
“Once the party has zoned the position of national chairmanship to north central, that is the end of any presidential ambition under APC in that zone,” the source who lives in Lokoja told OpenLife in a telephone conversation.
The positions zoned to north central, comprising
Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, and Plateau States, which affected Yahaya Bello are
1. National Chairman, National Vice Chairman (NC),Deputy National Secretary, Deputy National Legal Adviser, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Zonal Secretary, Zonal Youth Leader, Zonal Organizing Secretary, Zonal Women Leader, Zonal Special (Persons with Disability- PWD) Leader.
It would be recalled that Yahaya Bello, born June 18, 1975 has been serving as the Governor of Kogi State since 2016. He announced his presidential ambition long ago.
