Governor Radda Assumed Office Prepared To Make Katsina Safe For Investors And Citizens—Kaulah

Governor Radda Assumed Office Prepared

OpenLife Nigeria reports that  governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State assumed office on May 29, 2023 with adequate preparations on how to make the State safe for investors and citizens.

This was the submission of the governor’s spokesman, Mallam Ibrahim Mohammed Kaulah during a New-Year exchange of pleasantries with OpenLife early Wednesday.

Kaulah explained that Katsina State, under the leadership of governor Dikko Umar Radda, is gradually becoming a destination of choice to investors as a result of the sustainable security measures put in place by the 53 years old governor.

Kaulah noted that governor Radda recognizes the importance of security of life and property and therefore, spares no effort at ensuring that citizens and non-citizens are free to go about their daily engagements undisturbed.

“I can tell you without any contradiction that Dikko Umar Radda is the most prepared governor before assuming office in Nigeria. Within seven months, the governor has done a lot,” Kaulah declared.

Supporting his argument, the governor’s spokesman highlighted the effectiveness of the Community Watch Corps, the state-owned security organization, which has put bandits and other ancillary criminals in check in the State.

He maintained that the governor’s strategic security measure which led to the establishment of the Community Watch Corps, is being applauded by the opposition who have seen indisputable results in the governor’s efforts.

“Some Katsina youths who could not scale enlistment into the Nigerian military form the bulk of the personnel in the Community Watch Corps.

“They are able bodied and qualified in every sense of the word. But rather than get frustrated, governor Radda recruited them into the state owned para military organization through a proper screening process with village heads serving as referees to ensure good conduct and adherence to the governor’s developmental plans.

“Others are being engaged in agriculture to promote food sufficiency in the State and for export. With these initiatives and many others, the governor has intelligently depleted the reservoirs of idle youths for banditry and criminal activities.

Officers of the Community Watch Corps were trained by military for six months so that they can be professional in scope and operations,” Kaulah stated.
