Governor Expresses Frustrations
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, at a church service in Abakaliki on Sunday, gleefully made Chief Ifeanyi Odii, the Ebonyi PDP governorship candidate in 2027 and the Minister of Works, Engr David Umahi a political topical issue.
He announced that Chief Odii wouldn’t be allowed to campaign anywhere in Ebonyi State ahead of 2027.
The governor gave a marching order to the incoming local government chairmen in the state not to permit a PDP gathering of any sort in their LGAs.
He instructed that anywhere the PDP candidate is seen campaigning, such a venue should be sealed.
He equally accused Umahi of distorting APC National Assembly primary election result in Ebonyi by removing Barrister Idu Igariwe who’s seeking 4th tenure in the House of Representatives.
