<h4>Governor Appoints 136 Aides<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that just days after Senator Remi Tinubu donated the sum of N500m to 500 families affected by violent conflicts in six local government areas of Plateau State&comma; Governor Caleb Mutfwang has appointed 136 aides&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The appointment is contained in a statement by the governor’s director of press and public affairs&comma; Gyang Bere&comma; on Friday in Jos&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to the statement&comma; those appointed are the first batch of aides whose portfolios would be communicated through their respective local government councils&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The governor picked eight appointees from each of the 17 LGAs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Remi Tinubu who was in Jos on Tuesday to make the donation and commiserate with the victims&comma; encouraged them not to lose hope as her husband and other stakeholders work to ensure enduring peace in communities&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking at the Government House&comma; the First Lady who is also the Chairperson of Renewed Hope Initiative Foundation&comma; said&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I am aware of the unfortunate crisis that bedevilled the State&comma; particularly Mangu people&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The report got me worried and concerned about the destruction of peace of the affected families&period; I can imagine the destruction of lives and properties&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A time like this is not to come and express our sympathies&comma; but to take concrete actions to alleviate the sufferings of those affected&period; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">That is why we are here today&comma; not just to sympathise with you but to offer our meagre support<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;This N500 million is our modest support to enable affected families to renew their lives as we provide them with the means to renew their shelter and other essential needs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To the affected families&comma; I want you to know that you are not alone in the journey of recovery&comma; we stand with you in solidarity and prayers&period; I urge you not to lose hope but to have faith in God&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;
