Fresh crises in TB Joshua’s Synagogue
OpenLife Nigeria reports that just few months after the death and burial of Senior Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, crises appear to have divided the once united spiritual family.
At the centre of the fresh crises is the issue of headship.
Some vested interests, especially in the circle of the late Prophet’s apostles, are not prepared to yield headship of the church to the legally married wife of the late popular Prophet, Mrs Evelyn Joshua.
The apostles who were mostly the right hand men of TB Joshua are from South Africa, United States of America and other foreign countries.
Information gathered indicates that they have been hostile to Evelyn Joshua.
However, the Delta State born intelligent woman has warmed herself into the hearts of the members through her spiritual endowment and accurate sermon delivery
So serous is the case that on Thursday, a Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos delivered judgment in favour of Evelyn Joshua “As a trustee” of the church.
The court verdict, according to the interpretation within the church, has confirmed her headship of the church with global tentacles.
Meanwhile, information gathered by OpenLife from one of the South African devotees stated that soon after the man of God died, about $500,000 allegedly missed.
Till date, OpenLife was told that no arrest has been made but those who had access to the vault within the church were believed to have helped themselves with the huge dollars when the televangelist passed on.
