Former PDP chairman is dead.

Openlife Nigeria reports that the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in Abia State, Ndidi Okereke is dead.

She died in the early hours of Monday, November 14, 2022.

The cause of her death is yet to be disclosed.

The state party Vice Chairman/ Acting Publicity Secretary, Abraham Amah, who made the announcement, said that the state PDP Chairman, Alwell Okere, mourns the painful loss of this great son of Abia, and commiserates with members of his family, friends and well wishers.

He described late Okereke as an accomplished pharmacist, and bridge between the old and new breed politicians, who doubled as Chairman of the party’s Contact and Mobilisation sub-committee of the 2023 Abia PDP Campaign Council, and the party’s state reconciliation committee.

“He was a reliable, ally, and strategic partner of the governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, who is shattered by the death of ‘ever jovial Ndidi Okereke’ as he was fondly called by all.
