First Lady Inspires Confidence In Police Officers To Combat Crimes
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the First Lady of Kebbi State and wife of the Executive Governor of the State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir, has inspired confidence in officers and men of the Kebbi Police Command by extending generous yuletide supports.
The First Lady, represented by the Wife of the Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hajiya Uwani Usman Ankwai, visited the Mobile Police Barracks and the Police Barracks in Birnin Kebbi, where she empathized with widows of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, describing them as heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

During the visit, the First Lady donated the sum of five million naira (₦5,000,000) and 500 bags of rice to the Mobile Police Barracks, with similar support extended to the Police Barracks, to ease the welfare and festive celebrations of police families.

Police Public Relations Officer, expressed profound appreciation to the Wife of the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir, for her kind gesture to wives of Mobile Police officers and widows of fallen police personnel as part of the 2025 Christmas celebrations.

Speaking on behalf of CP Sani Bello, Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CSP Usman Shahu appreciated the First Lady for her generosity, compassion, and continued support to the Nigeria Police Force, noting that the gesture would significantly boost the morale of officers and their families.
”The Kebbi State Police Command remains grateful for the sustained partnership and support of the Kebbi State Government and reassures the public of its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state,” the statement stated.
