FG gives fresh update on Abba Kyari’s extradition

<p><strong>The <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Federal Government<&sol;a> on Wednesday said the request by the <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">United States &lpar;US&rpar;<&sol;a> for the extradition of embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police &lpar;DCP&rpar; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Abba Kyari<&sol;a>&comma; over fraud links is &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;still being processed”&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking at a briefing which held after the weekly Federal Executive Council &lpar;FEC&rpar; meeting in Abuja&comma; Attorney General of the Federation &lpar;AGF&rpar; and Minister of Justice&comma; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Abubakar Malami<&sol;a>&comma; restated that he did not exonerate Kyari neither for his charges of illegal drug business&comma; or money laundering in respect of Ramon Abass&comma; commonly known as <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Hushpuppi’s<&sol;a> matter&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;uk-cancels-covid-19-test-for-nigerian-travellers&sol;"><span style&equals;"color&colon; &num;ff0000&semi;">UK Cancels COVID-19 Test For Nigerian Travellers<&sol;span><&sol;a><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p>Malami&comma; while speaking on the extradition request by the US government concerning embattled DCP Kyari&comma; rued what he described as a misconception of issues&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The AGF&comma; who argued that the request was still being processed by the authorities&comma; said there exists a general misunderstanding created around the issue by the media&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He implored Nigerian newspapers to endeavour to always get a grip of the facts to avoid creating confusion&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
