OpenLife Nigeria reports that as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, prepares for its national convention, fixed for February 2022 to lect new executives, Servant of the Most High God, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, founder, INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, on Wednesday prophetically revealed names of experienced politicians that can lead and stabilize the ruling party.
Only recent, President Muhammadu Buhari, gave the go-ahead for APC to hold its national convention in February 2022 to elect national executive officers.
Briefing State House correspondents after a closed-door meeting with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the Chairman of Progressive Governors’ Forum, PGF, and governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, said the issue of the national convention which was the outcome of the meeting of the Progressives Governors, was tabled before President Buhari who he said graciously gave the party the nod to hold the convention next February.
Bagudu, who was flanked by the Chairman of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State, said the date of the convention would be announced after meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Speaking about the APC leadership, Primate Ayodele said: “The spirit of God says the best people that can make the APC be much focused and firm are Ali Modu Sheriff and Kashim Shettima,” he disclosed.
