Everest Ozonweke Says Nigeria Police Lack Capacity

Sir, recently, there was a write up by Everest Ozonweke saying you are manipulating Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos with court judgement. How do you react to that?
Yes, I have been out of the country. When I was away, my press secretary drew my attention to the write up.
Anyway, I am not surprised by the write up because I know who Everest Ozonweke is.
He does not have integrity and does not have any means of livelihood. His survival depends on Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
The only thing he does is to tell lies and quote novels. If you don’t know him, you will think that a professor like Wole Soyinka is talking. I am surprised that he has gone to law books to lift quotes.
I will not be surprised if he has started telling people that he is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN ,even when he did not attend a university let alone law school.
He labeled himself as south west co ordinator of Ohanaeze Ndigbo where he scavenges where burials ceremonies are holding or any event that will attract the President General, Chief Azuta Mbata so that he would take photographs with him.
Those photos are part of his strategies to deceive some unsuspecting members.
He would tell that that he just had some discussions with Mbata and that he is the eye of the national body of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos.
That is how he has been extorting money from members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos. Call Everest anytime, he is always available because he is jobless.
He has the time to attend all events both in Lagos and outside Lagos. No doubt, that is part of the reasons he has become the best customer to transporters who run night bus for travellers.
Ozonweke has deceived so many President Generals with lies from the era of Chief Nnia Nwodo who is a sound statesman and has worked tirelessly for the progress and unity of Ndigbo.
Everest also deceived me to see Chief Nwodo as a bad person. But current President General, Chief Mbata is a bone on his neck. He cannot swallow it.
Does Everest think that those who are reading his write up do not think?
He must be deluding himself if he feels that officers of the Nigeria Police that he has reduced to nothing through his write up do not think?
I don’t even know whether Everest Ozonweke knows that Nigeria Police have the best legal team in Africa.
Everest Ozonweke is sending message to the world that Nigeria Police are only relevant at road blocks and that they are totally ignorant of the law of the country they are securing.
With the disobedient to court judgement on his head and disobedience to Police invitation for questioning on contempt of court which he must answer, anywhere they assemble themselves again either in a meeting or event in the name of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state without the approval from Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, or approval from President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, Chief Azuta Mbata e and directed through me, they will all be arrested and prosecuted by the Nigeria Police.
Mr. President, Ozonweke said you were in Abuja to lobby Ohanaeze NEC. Is it true?
I am surprised at the level of lies by Everest Ozonweke, a kettle is calling pot black.
If any one wants to lobby for any favour in Ohanaeze, is NEC in Abuja? Have they taken over the position of Tinubu in Abuja?
Has Chief Mbata relocated Ohanaeze headquarters to Abuja from where it has been in Enugu?
To the best of my knowledge, NEC is in Enugu and not in Abuja. The statement has shown that Ozonweke is a confused hustler.
That was why all the lies turned against him when he contested in the kangaroo election which produced the yam seller in Lagos.
Now, what is the way forward ?
The way forward is for those who are parading themselves under Everest Ozonweke and Sunday Ossai in the name of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos to stay away from disobeying court order otherwise, they are clearing their roads to prison.
What about the Consent Judgment?
Yes, I have been expecting this question from you. There is Consent Judgment which is about three years now. Nobody has appealed it. Nobody has vacated it. And the Consent Judgment is in my favour.
The same lawyer who filed the motion for the complainants is the same lawyer that filed all the documents that brought us together which led to the Consent Judgement, an elected legal adviser in Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos.
So, who is aware and who is not aware? Is it Chief Mike Chidebelu or my own lawyer who was also the defendant of Ohanaeze Ndigbo? So, I don’t know what Ozonweke is saying.
The conclusion is that ignorance is not an excuse in law. 1000 SANs cannot vacate the judgement because they know the law.
The judgment was pronounced with Certified True Copy, CTC by one of the best judges that Nigeria has ever produced.
So, is Everest calling him a fraudulent judge? Or is he saying that all the lawyers who perfected all the processes are fraudulent?
After the judgement was pronounced, Everest Ozonweke went to Enugu NEC and confused them that it was a Court Order and not judgement just to deceive them to pave way for him to be the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos.
He also told some members in Lagos that the paper of the judgement I was parading is as good as tissue paper.
The same lies he is known for worked against him and he failed which made him a complete failure.
If Everest Ozonweke failed election, why is he still parading himself as the south west co ordinator for Ohanaeze Ndigbo?
That is a good question.
Everest is so desperate. But positions and powers come from God. He doesn’t know about that. That has been his major problem.
First, the co ordinator of Ohanaeze Ndigbo which he labled himself is not in Ohanaeze Ndigbo constitution.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the late President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide made Everest Ozonweke his personal assistant in Lagos.
His job responsibility was to only serve as a taxi cab giving him direction of streets when ever he visited Lagos especially places like Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Ikeja and Apapa.
Whenever he rounded off his visit, Ozonweke’s job would end immediately until the President General visited again.
If Ozonweke is able to produce a letter officially signed by Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and approved by living NEC members, making him south west co ordinator, I, President Solomon, will give him a million Naira.
This is because Ozonweke’s witnesses are mostly dead people who you cannot confirm anything from.
With this fake title he is parading himself with, he will be picked up by the Police soon and prosecuted for forgery and impersonation.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu knew that co Ordinator is not in the constitution of Ohanaeze. Everybody knows.
The major problem Everest Ozonweke has is that Chief Mbata is a lawyer and he cannot manipulate him with lies including his deputy and his secretary.
These are learned people who know what court judgement is all about and the consequences of contempt of court.
For instance, it was a court order that stopped the former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro, from contesting Ohanaeze Ndigbo presidential election that brought Chief John Mbata to office.
That is why Everest Ozonweke is now channeling his frustrations on those who are closely working with Chief Mbata and his deputy, Chief Okey.
How can somebody who contested election for President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos and failed now become the co ordinator of all the officially elected presidents in the south west as their head? It is laughable.
If that happens, then Atiku Abubakar would become the chairman of ECOWAS. Then someone who failed senate election will now become the Senate president above other elected senators in Nigeria.
The candidate who contested for governorship and failed will now become the chairman of Governor’s Forum.
That is what Ozonweke is doing. That is why comedians always say that everything for Igbo man is business.
So, Everest Ozonweke has gotten a medal as comedian in the name of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos.
There are two more questions but you can answer together. First, Ozonweke group were jubilating that on May 21, they were going to vacate the Consent Judgement. Today is May 22. Has the Consent Judgement been vacated?
My dear media, I have said it to you time and time. I am part of the Consent Judgement.
Even if we are 500 and everybody says they are not part of it again and I say I am part of it, the Consent Judgement cannot be vacated.
So, why should I go for lobby when the matter has been concluded in the court and I have the mandate of office till June 16, 2026.
In that 2026, I will set up electoral committee and election will be conducted.
I thought Ubochi Ubochi is your friend. But I saw one memo he wrote and signed as the spokesperson of that group. How is your relationship with him?
Well, he is my friend, no doubt but he is not a member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
His desperation to be President of Ohanaeze brought demarcation between us and his everyday pressure for me to arrest the former President of Lagos Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Oliver Akubueze {Mmiri} so that he would give account of the kangaroo election that brought the yam seller as the illegal president.
I always tell Ubochi that I have nothing to do with that election and that Chief Oliver Akubueze was the one who endorsed me as his candidate for Ohanaeze Ndigbo Presidential election.
I told him that I cannot be like Everest Ozonweke and Robert Obasi who bite the finger that fed them.
Can you imagine somebody who is not a member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo calling for the review of Ohanaeze constitution? That is to tell you the level of desperation of my friend, Ubochi.
I told Ubochi that first he has to register as a member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
This is because we were living in the same Eti-Osa Local government area in Lagos State. He is still living there.
But I have never seen him in any Ohanaeze Ndigbo meeting except when Ubochi hears that they want to share something.
Even if it is Carbin biscuit, he will be there first before anyone both in the state and the local government.
To my surprise, Ubochi was telling one of my friends that he was the one sponsoring my tenure.
I then asked my friend: Is Ubochi Ubochi Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuman Odii? Or is he the governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu or Chief Chidi Anyaegbu {Chisco motors?}
I told my friend that whatever Ubochi has told him is like someone who is driving Keke Marwa from CMS to Orile saying that he is the one who financed Dangote’s refinery and he also has about 15 aircraft in Air Peace as a franchise.
There is something I used to tell my friend Ubochi Ubochi that he is very handsome with sugar coated mouth.
It is from him, Ubochi my friend, that I got to know that all that are glitters are not gold.
Do you know how much Ubochi has made from people by telling them that he has hired a SAN to vacate the Consent Judgement that President Solomon is using to rule Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos?
I know how Ubochi has been mentioning my name negatively but I still keep him as my friend.
The reason Ubochi is with Ossai is because he takes their closeness as another lucrative business to make money and take over the kangaroo Ohanaeze Ndigbo structure and become the President which he can never be.
Anyway, not to worry, one day, Ubochi and I will still come back and continue to ‘flez’ the way we used to do.
