<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that Honourable Evaristus Isegulan Ehigianewoh, a die-hard believer in Senator Monday Okpebholo, the executive governor of Edo State, has spoken about the new government in Edo State.</p>
<p>Evaristus, popularly known as African Pastor, has called on all stakeholders to support the governor so that he will succeed in delivering his well-articulated plans to make <a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/">Edo</a> State better.</p>
<p>The Pastor, in a brief conversation with few journalists Sunday afternoon said governor Okpebholo has started very well.<br />
<em><strong>“You can see for yourself. He hit the ground running. He is touching all areas like education, agriculture, road construction, health etc.”</strong></em></p>

<p>On appointment, the President of Esan Lobby Group, ELG, clarifies that he did not support governor Okpebholo because of appointment.</p>
<p><em><strong>“The truth is that my support for Governor Monday Okpebholo during the campaign and till this moment is not about appointment.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>“I have known him for a long time and we have been close friends even though we are from different local government areas.</strong></em></p>

<p><em><strong>“I supported him because I believe in him, his political philosophy and ideology.</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>“I supported him because he is a man of truth and he has human feelings. He is not happy when people are not happy. He is happy when people are happy.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>“My happiness today is because I have a sense of fulfilment by supporting Okpebholo. This is because of the steps he has taken to address key issues in Edo State.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>“During the campaigns, I stood in prayers for APC and governor Okpebholo as a Pastor and spiritual leader .</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>“Till date, I am still praying for the governor to succeed in office.</strong></em></p>

<p><em><strong>“However, I am qualified for appointment either at the State or local government levels.</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>“With a Bachelor degree and my commitment to our party, APC including the risks some of us took during campaigns, I merit appointment.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>“Once the governor calls me to render service in any capacity, I will discharge such responsibility with the cleanest of mind and commitment so that I can add value to his administration,”</strong></em> African Pastor said.</p>
