<p><em>Estonia President, Kersti Kaijulaid and Tony Elumelu, Chairman United Bank for Africa, UBA, proffer solutions to COVID-19 Pandemic Socio-Economic Problems</em></p>
<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that the President of the Republic of <strong>Estonia,</strong> Kersti Kaijulaid and Tony Elumelu, Chairman, Board of Directors, United Bank for Africa, UBA, rubbed minds at an online summit for solution to Africa’s endemic socio economic problems.<br />
At the summit, Tony Elumelu who is the founder of Heirs Holding, a multi purpose investment vehicle, externalized the pandemic challenges and offered solutions amongst which was employment generation and capital investment for infrastructural renewal.<br />

<p>“Last week, our Founder, Tony Elumelu, joined the President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaijulaid, at the online cross-continental hackathon, themed, &#8216;EU <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Africa</a> the Post Crisis Journey&#8217;. The event sought to find innovative solutions to socio-economic problems that have been further escalated by the outburst of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>
<p>During the conference, our Founder spoke on the importance of bridging the digital divide made prominent by the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, he highlighted the impact of the Tony Elumelu Foundation in addressing the digital gap.”</p>
