Enugu Police Command Begins Phase 11 NHIS Enrolment

<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Enugu Police Command would begin phase 11 NHIS enrolment March 15<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Enugu Police Command wishes to inform the general public&comma; particularly retired Police Officers resident in the State and who were not captured in the first phase of the Nigeria Police Force nationwide registration and capturing of all retired Police Officers on the National Health Insurance Scheme &lpar;NHIS&rpar;&comma; that the Second Phase of the exercise has been scheduled to hold in the five Area Commands&&num;8217&semi; Headquarters of the Command from Monday&comma; March 15 to Thursday&comma; March 18&comma; 2021 by 8am daily&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;According to a statement signed by<br &sol;>&NewLine;ASP Daniel Ndukwe&comma; Police Public Relations Officer of the Enugu <strong>Police<&sol;strong> Command&comma; the enrolment is to enable the Retirees &lpar;irrespective of their ranks on retirement&rpar; and each of their spouses&comma; have full access to all NHIS services and benefits covered by the Police Health Maintenance Organization &lpar;Police-HMO&rpar; Code – 073&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Accordingly&comma; the retired Police Officers are enjoined to visit&comma; alongside each of their spouses&comma; anyone of Agbani&comma; Enugu Metro&comma; Nsukka&comma; Oji-River and Udenu Area Commands&&num;8217&semi; Headquarters that is nearest to them&comma; on the aforementioned dates and time&comma; for the NHIS registration and capturing exercise&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;They are advised to show up with a letter of retirement and identity card&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Commissioner of Police&comma; CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu&comma; has entreated the senior citizens to seize the opportunity of the enrolment&comma; made possible by the Inspector-General of Police&comma; IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu&comma; and present themselves for the exercise&period; He further advised on strict adherence with COVID-19 prevention protocols&comma; including hand washing&comma; sanitization&comma; maintenance of social-physical distance and wearing of face mask during the exercise&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
