END SARS PROTEST: Don’t cross the red line, Enwonwu warns Oyo protesters

End SARS Protesters in Oyo State have been warned not to cross the red line.

The warning came as a result of intelligent reports available to the Command that protesters may unleash terror on innocent citizens.

According to the Oyo Police Command spokesman, Superintendent Fadeyi Gbenga, “The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu,  wishes to state that since the commencement of the protest on “EndSARS,” the Command has been cooperating with the youths who has been protesting in Oyo State.

“The CP wishes to appreciate all those who has been carrying out the protest within the ambient of the law. But the protest is taking a new dimension. Protesters are mapping out new strategy to carry out coordinated attacks on innocent citizens,  Police stations and personnel.

“As a result, the CP enjoins parents, guardian, traditional rulers, community and religious  leaders to caution their children. Wards should desist from act(s) that can be inimical to our cooperate interest.

“The Command is battle-ready to curtail excesses. Disgruntled elements and  social miscreants amongst End SARS protesters will not be allowed to unleash mayhem on innocent citizens. There are proper ways to channel grievances.

“CP Enwonwu assures the good people of Oyo State to go about their lawful businesses without fear or molestations. For maximum safety of all and sundry, adequate security measures have been emplaced..”
