Spokesperson for the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the development.
In 2008, Igbinedion was prosecuted and sentenced to six months’ imprisonment with an option of N3.5 million fine for embezzling N2.9 billion belonging to Edo state.
