OpenLife Nigeria reports that as the Edo State gears up for the 2024 governorship election, a group under the aegis of Edo Women in Diaspora has thrown its weight behind Prince Clem Agba, the immediate past Minister of State for Budget and Planning.

The group, the Edo Women in Diaspora, has passionately appealed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consider the former Minister, Prince Clem Agba as the most fitting aspirant for the forthcoming electoral battle.

In a recent meeting with APC women leaders spanning wards, senatorial, and state levels, the group’s spokesperson, Barr. Rose Odiye, and Dr. Mercy Grant conveyed their unwavering belief in Prince Clem Agba’s candidacy. The Edo women in diaspora assert that Agba epitomizes the qualities essential for effective leadership and development in Edo State.

Highlighting Agba’s dedication to service and his tireless efforts toward the welfare of the people of Edo State, the group underscored his impressive track record of accomplishments in various positions, both within and outside the state.

Edo Women in Diaspora accentuated Agba’s rich experience in both the public and private sectors, describing him as an astute administrator with the capability to efficiently manage the affairs of the state. They firmly believe that his expertise and competence position him as the ideal candidate to lead Edo State towards progress and prosperity.

The group fervently urged the APC to consider Prince Clem Agba as the prime candidate to receive the party’s governorship ticket. They are confident that his nomination would not only enhance the party’s electoral prospects but also ensure the overall development and well-being of the people of Edo State.
