DIG Margaret Ochalla Resumes At Force CID
OpenLife reports that the Force Criminal Investigation Department on 10th March, 2026 received the newly appointed Deputy Inspector-General of Police to the Department, DIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla.
The Force Criminal Investigation Department with its Four Annexes gladly welcomed DIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla as the new DIG for the Department.
According to a statement signed by SP Funmi Eguaoje, the spokesperson for
FCID, the DIG was received at the FCID complex Area 10, Garki Abuja by senior officers of the Department led by AIG Olaolu Adegbite, the AIG in-charge of INTERPOL Section.
In a brief interaction, the DIG reassures her commitments to implementing the cardinal objectives of the new Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu in reducing criminal activities to the barest minimum through thorough investigative activities.
DIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla holds Bachelor Degree in Sociology and M.SC in Peace Study and Conflict Resolution. Her posting to the FCID is a blessing to the Department as she is not new to the terrain. She has served in the Department as AC Gender Unit, DC Gender Unit, CP Anti-Fraud Section, CP Police Special Fraud Unit, AIG FCID Annex Lagos.
She is conversant with ethics of high profile and complex investigation that the Department stands for as the Apex Investigative arm of the Nigeria Police Force.
Her wealth of experience will greatly impact on the Department and enhance our professionalism in tackling and bursting complex crimes across the Federation.
