Diaspora Banking
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Zenith Bank Plc, number one bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 Capital, has officially started free Bank Verification Number, BVN, enrolment in the United States of America.
The initiative is part of the Bank’s dedicated “Diaspora Banking,” a service designed to enable Nigerians abroad to conduct transactions without being physically present in Nigeria.
The BVN is an 11-digit, unique identification number for the Nigerian banking industry, introduced in 2014 to secure accounts, reduce fraud and harmonize customers’ data via biometrics. The 11-digit lasts for life and links all bank accounts to a single identity.

Dates & Venue
From today, February 24th, 25th and 28th, the exercise will hold at Hilton Houston, Post Oak 2001 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056.
Also, from February 26th and 27th in 2026, the exercise would hold at The Ion 4201 Main Street Houston Tx, 77002.
In like manner, the exercise would hold at Sheraton Dallas Hotel 4801 Lyndon B Jonson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75244 from March 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2026.
Time
The exercise is fixed for 9AM – 6PM daily.
