<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Delta State government has denied rumour making the rounds about curfew extension.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Commissioner of Information, Charles Aniagwu, who debunked the rumour said he does not know where the rumour emanated from.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It would be recalled that Igbudu Market and some major areas in Warri were in a state of rush towards the early evening of Monday June 15, 2020 over a rumoured extension of curfew hours from 6pm to 6am.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The rumour precipitated rush even as most stores were closed for business to beat the new rumoured curfew hour of 6pm.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The situation was the same on some major roads in the town as intra city commercial transporters and passengers were also in a panic mood over the rumour.</p>
