Dele Momodu Weighs In On Sophia-Davido Custody Clash

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Nigerian media titan Dele Momodu has weighed in on his niece Sophia Momodu’s custody battle with music superstar Davido, drawing fresh attention to the family drama.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram from Liberia, Momodu described the scene:

“Here in Liberia, @davido is treated as the god of music.

I’ve been visiting here for over two decades, but this visit is different. I came to commiserate with my friend and Sister, former Vice President H.E. Dr Jewel Howard-Taylor, on the passing of her only child, Charles Philip Neilsen Taylor Jr.”

He also noted the interest and concern from fans, some of whom urged him to intervene:

“Since landing here, I have been inundated with messages from fans of David, and ladies who love @thesophiamomodu to bits… One of them is this ‘fashion designer’ @lorine.doe who said I should step in and settle the ‘quarrels.’ My dear Sister, thanks so much.

Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright. We are working behind the scenes. Pls keep everyone in your prayers.”

Momodu’s presence underscores the delicate nature of the dispute, with his reassurance signaling that the situation is being carefully managed behind the scenes.

With Dele Momodu stepping in, there’s renewed hope that the custody dispute between Sophia Momodu and Davido could be resolved peacefully.

His experience as an influential publisher and family confidant suggests that the drama may soon move away from public speculation toward quiet reconciliation, giving fans and followers reason to anticipate a positive outcome.
