Defence Somersault: Service Chiefs Take Instructions From Aisha Buhari—Najaatu

Defence Somersault

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Nigerian service chiefs are said to be taking instructions from the wife of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs. Aisha Buhari.
Disclosing this on Arise TV Monday morning, a human rights activist and politician of note, Najaatu Bala Muhammad said that Aisha Buhari is part of Aso Rock cabal whose influence extends beyond Nigeria.
According to Najaatu, cabal within the Villa are of different categories. She explained that Aisha’s cabal is made up of her self, children and few others who are very close to her, including Ahmed Halilu , her blood brother who President Muhammadu Buhari appointed as the Managing Director of Nigerian Security Printing and Minting in September 2022.
Najaatu stressed that despite Buhari’s earlier stance that his wife belongs to “The other room,” a euphemism for the non existence of the office of the first lady, Aisha has controlling influence on the armed forces through the service chiefs.
“She instructs the service chiefs,” she disclosed.
Her disclosure raised dust in the public space early Monday with many wondering how the first lady, with no knowledge of military operations, could be exerting such influence over the armed forces.
“That is why w have defence somersault in the country. That is also the reason insurgents have domineering influence over north east and west. We did not know that Aisha has been the Defence Minister,” a lecturer in Adekunle Ajasin University, AAU, Akungba, Ondo State, responded to OpenLife in a chat.
