OpenLife Nigeria reports that the National President, Urhobo National Youth Congress and the General Overseer of Glory of Faith Assembly, Apostle Comrade Moses Obayendo, has expressed his heartfelt commendation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s recent decisions to approve the rehabilitation and construction of Okwetolor- Okobia-Aragba road including the construction of Okwighele to Amuokpokpor road.

In a statement made available to OpenLife Friday afternoon, Apostle Moses Obayendo said that the Okwighele to Amuokpokpor road is his village road.

“That is my own village within the Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State. This development is part of what we have been praying for in many years,” he stated.

Continuing, Apostle Moses Obayendo emphasized that the approval to construct the Okwighele to Amuokpokpor road “Got me elevated with other numerous projects within the Okpe Local Government Area and the allocation of N275 billion for 76 critical infrastructure projects across Delta State.”

Apostle Moses Obayendo noted that the Okwighele-Amokpokpor road project has been a longstanding issue that has hindered transportation and economic activities in the region.

“The bad state of the road has deprived indigents of the area from traveling to their village from around May to November of every year.”

Further, Apostle Obayendo explained that “The approval for the construction of the Okwighele-Amuokpokpor road project is a testament to Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to improving the lives of our people.

“This road is not just a project but it is a lifeline for the community that relies on it for trade, and healthcare access.

“I remember a time I was to rush my mother to hospital but I couldn’t drive to the village even when I had driven from Warri down to Okwighele.

“I had to trek through the waters and used motorbike to get my mother to where I parked my car before I could take her to the hospital,” Comrade Moses narrated.

He stressed that the approved N275 billion projects will lead to improved living standards and economic advancement for everyone in Delta and beyond.

“I sincerely appreciate all those who have put in efforts for the realization of this long dream. Worthy of note is Chief Dick gberevbie, the community leader and the duke of Ugolo district, Okpe kingdom,” Apostle Obayendo appreciated, adding that “I pray to Almighty God to continue to protect governor Sheriff Oborevwori  for more quality service to us in Delta State.
