Sir, as the founder of Igbo Youth Awake For Sustainable Development Initiative with over 5000 members across the nation under your leadership, how do you see the emergence of Chief John Mbata as President General worldwide of Ohanaeze Ndigbo?
Yes, it is great to have someone like Chief John Mbata as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide.
Ndigbo has gotten someone who will address the problems of Ohanaeze Ndigbo both at the national and state chapters.
Chief Mbata is a lawyer according to my findings because I have not met him before.
First of all, I need to voice out my opinion and advice of what will help the man to succeed with legacy.
My question is: Is Ohanaeze Ndigbo constitution more powerful than Nigerian constitution?
Can somebody who is not a governor become the chairman of Governor’s Forum?
Can some one who is not a Senator become Senate President? Can someone who is not a President of a country become the President of ECOWAS? Can some one who is not Eze become the chairman , Council of Ndi-Eze?
But it is only in Ohanaeze Ndigbo that someone who is not President of any state chapter will label himself as the co ordinator of Ohanaeze Ndigbo South West, {Everest Ozonweke} and the core national Ohanaeze Ndigbo leaders are watching without comment.
Late Chief Iwuanyanwu made Everest Ozoweke one of his Personal assistants to lead him as a google map for street address in Lagos.
It is a shame on us and those who claim to be leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
So, President General, you can understand the kind of people you are going to face as inner advisers.
Don’t forget that if you stop sharing money to them in less than one year from now, they will be saying it within themselves that past Presidents like late George Obiozor and Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu are better than you.
Ndigbo has problems.
Anyway, try your best and leave the rest to God.
Secondly, what is Chief Enwo Igariwey still doing in Ohanaeze Ndigbo that every time he is the one conducting elections including Lagos under a High Court Consent Judgment in favour of Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene?
Is it because of the money he used to make from candidates? What is the record of his leadership that anywhere there is problem in Ohanaeze, he must be involved to make matters worse?
Where is Professor Joe Nwogu, his secretary when he was a President General?
He has some boys in his cabal who give him information about anybody who comes close to President General.
You have to stand on your leg as President General and take your decision. Nobody forced decision on Chief Enwo Igariwey when he was President General.
He is someone I, Honourable Jude Onyeabor, know very well. The cabal in Ohanaeze even approached me and some of m
y members to join them in blackmailing some people especially Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene.
My question is that what has Chief Aguene done to any of them? All I know is that no President has done better than Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene because he came and has been working without relying on any godfather.
He is the only President who has impacted peoples’ lives and took Ohanaeze Ndigbo to higher levels.
Anyone that disputes the leadership quality of Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, that means devil is better than the person.
I have told them that the blackmailing against this man is even promoting him. Sometime, when you talk sense, they say it is Chief Solomon Ogbonna that is talking? Is that not crediting him with all the wisdom in the world?
My brother, Mr President General, if you want to succeed without stress in Lagos, work with Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene. Anyway, Mr. President General, I was the one who spoke with you on the phone on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
I know Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene as a successful businessman for over 20 years and I have been an Ohanaeze Ndigbo member for about 17 years before Chief Solomon Ogbonna registered as a member. So, I know Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos and all the members very well both the good ones and the bad ones.
And I know, Mr . President General, that you are a lawyer and you have been successful in business and politics.
This group that is coming to blackmail members and leaders to you has no other business. They can claim any office as their private business but find out, they have nothing doing.
Their hope is to look up to what you can influence to get as President General and share to them. There is an adage that says “A real successful big man does not listen to the gossip of sycophants except if the man is big physically but poor in spirit.”
If they come to you to speak against anyone, you should create time to investigate and find out the truth.
