Calvin Rodgers, supports James Mireku’s ‘Africa is Home 11’

Calvin Rodgers, renowned American musician and Grammy Award winner,  has expressed gratitude to James Mireku, son of the Gospel Musician, Elder Dr. Akwasi Mireku.

James Mireku launched his new project titled ‘Africa Is Home’ in  July which has taken the online portals by storm.

Calvin Rodgers, in an interview, showered praises on James Mireku for taking Africa to the next level in the music industry.

“Hey! Let me applaud James Mireku for giving me the opportunity to be part of his project titled ‘Africa Is Home.’

“I must commend him for the trend he has taken to ensure the world at large remembers that there is pure African music, ” excited Calvin Rodgers stated.

James Mireku’s father Elder, Dr. Mireku is known as a powerful gospel music act but his son has taken another path that will project the legacies of the veteran gospel musician.

“This is not a different project it’s the same ‘Africa Is Home’ but I have decided to categorized it into seasons so I will introduce a new artist on board every season,” he disclosed.

He further noted that “My fans out there should expect more from me after Calvin Rodgers,” he promised.

It will be recalled that James promised to project his dad’s legacy. He is , indeed,  on the verge of accomplishing his dreams.

Born James Yaw Mireku, he began his ministry at the tender age of four.

At that time, neither had eyes seen nor ears heard.

By all assessment, God almighty has plans for him not only in Ghana but across Africa and the world.

Those who know him confess he is set for greatness. James will be the first Ghanaian artist to feature Calvin Rodgers on his project.

Calvin Rodgers  was born into a family of musicians on the south side of Chicago, Illinois.

He was born in 1978 and records have it that as a young child, his parents noticed instantly his love for music.

Calvin Rodgers  is best known as a  music producer, drummer, and songwriter known for his work in the gospel genre.
