Business War
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the conflict between Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams, (BLord) and social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM has escalated significantly.
At the moment, VeryDarkMan has gone for BLord’s jugular, flattening his import business.
The latest of the battle for supremacy by the 32 years old Nigerian social media influencer, activist, critic, and philanthropist is price war for electric motor cycle.
Technically, the battle which started in late 2025 and early 2026 has been characterized by intense social media warfare, allegations of financial crimes, and physical confrontation via proxy.
The feud started when VDM criticized BLord’s app (Bill Point) and business practices, specifically regarding high prices for iPhones and alleged poor customer service.
Personal Attacks: BLord responded with personal attacks, including alleged insults toward VDM’s parents and releasing private, explicit images (referred to as “noodles”) of VDM, which VDM subsequently embraced to neutralize the attack.
However, VDM accused BLord of being involved in fraud, money laundering, and operating a fraudulent app, prompting calls for investigations.
A major contention was the use of the “Ratel” brand name, with Blord attempting to assert rights over it against VDM.
Somehow, reports indicated that BLord was arrested in Abuja following a petition filed by VDM regarding user complaints and missing funds on his app.
Intense Social Media War: The two have engaged in ongoing online battles, with Blord continuing to taunt VDM, including offering a bounty for, and sharing, more private images of VDM.
