<p><strong>An ally of <a href="http://Openlife.ng">President Muhammadu Buhari</a>, <a href="http://Openlife.ng">Alhaji Zakar Salisu Hadejia</a> is dead.</strong></p>
<p>Hadejia died on Friday at the Aminu Kano Teaching hospital, in Kano State after a brief illness.</p>
<p>He was a strong ally and loyalist of the president and was a deputy gubernatorial candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change in Jigawa in 2011.</p>
<p>He was also the commissioner of commerce in Jigawa state.</p>

<p>While mourning the deceased, Buhari described him as a politician who understood the nuances of grassroots mobilisation.</p>
