Brotherly Message To Governor Dave Umahi

Brotherly message to Governor Dave Umahi dwells on the need for synergy and co operation to achieve desired objectives for Ebonyi State

OpenLife Nigeria reports that born out of the desire to enthrone unity among leading Ebonyi sons and daughters, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos has written a brother message of hope and assurance to the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer Dave Umahi.
In the letter of brotherly message, cited by OpenLife Nigeria, Chief Aguene praised governor Umahi as one of the few governors in Nigeria that are delivering democracy dividends to its people.
In the brotherly message, the Lagos Ohanaeze President sued for co operation and technically urged the governor to mediate into the disagreements amongst Ebonyi senior sons and daughter. “Settle all disputes. We all need to be united to be able to work for you,” he advised.
The brotherly message reads:

“His Excellency, Governor Dave Umahi, I greet you, Sir.
As your younger brother, I feel very proud to write and publicly appreciate your good works in Ebonyi State as well as the quality leadership you have provided in steering the ship of our dear State, Ebonyi.
Without doubt, Ebonyi has become a model for other States to emulate especially in the area of infrastructural renewal and security outlay for the safety of our citizens and investors.
Over time, you have always thrown your weight behind any Ebonyian who is involved in one or two interest.
A good example was when I was contesting for the Presidency of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos. Your supports aided my victory. There are many others who have quality testimonies about your candid supports.
However, there are many others who have different stories to tell about their dislike of your style.
I see some of those narratives as jealous because I am also a leader who is trying to elevate our people just the way you are doing but some would read different meanings to my genuine interest and persuasions.
In all of this, I believe very strongly, like others who reason like me, that you are a great leader.
At the moment, there are good opportunities to work together. Opportunity does not come always. I am ready to work for you. I am a grassroots mobilize. I have capacity to pull grassroots supports both in Lagos, Ebonyi and across tribes and communities in Nigeria.
To achieve this, there is need to put aside our differences. I am available for reconciliation with our elder brother who is the President of Ndigbo Lagos so that we can work for you. Akaeze is far away from me but Ubulu is my dormain. Therefore, you remain my brother whether the enemies like it or not.
I am not saying all this because I have benefitted anything from you. Whenever and wherever I take my art work, I always get patronized and that sustains me in business but the story is different in my Ebonyi State.
Brotherliness strives in Anambra State and that makes them the state with the highest number of billionaires in Nigeria. We can be more prosperous in unity and support to one another.
It is also important you reach out and extend supports. Your supports will neither  make you poorer nor reduce you in any way. Rather, it would help to consolodide on the existing foundation you have laid .
Sir, kindly make use of this my brotherly message and contribution as God’s ordination.
I strongly believe that this will help us, a great deal to move forward especially those of us who truly want to work for you.

Thank you and God bless.
Your Always,
Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene,
President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos
