Bobrisky Creates Upset On Social Media

OpenLife reports that a  heated exchange has unfolded on social media involving Nigerian personality Bobrisky and a netizen, following a resurfaced Instagram interaction tied to an unread private message from 2022.

The situation reportedly began on Instagram under a comment section on actress Mercy Aigbe’s post, where Bobrisky had described her affectionately as:

“My hot sister ”

Shortly after, a user identified as molecule256 responded under the comment section with a direct insult aimed at Bobrisky. The netizen wrote:

“@bobrisky222 gbenue oshi soun… She no dey mingle with people like you.”

What later intensified the situation was Bobrisky’s reaction, as he revisited a private message the same individual had sent him years earlier. The message, sent in 2022, reportedly expressed admiration for Bobrisky, with the sender stating that he lived in Lekki and would like to meet him. However, Bobrisky did not open or respond to the message at the time.

Following the recent public insult, Bobrisky brought the earlier message back into discussion, suggesting that the user’s current hostility may be linked to the fact that the DM had been ignored.

Expressing frustration over the turn of events, Bobrisky questioned the behavior of individuals who show friendliness in private but later switch tone in public interactions.

He stated:
“This is why I don’t open my Instagram DMs. Is it that people get angry when you don’t reply to their messages, or what?
Because some of you really need to check yourselves. In Yaba, they treat mad people better than this. I left a comment on my sister’s page, not on yours. Yet you had the audacity to come under my comment on her page and insult me for no reason at all.”

The online exchange has since generated discussion across
the internet, with users weighing in on issues of entitlement, digital communication boundaries, and reactions to being ignored online.
