Barrister Salami Tajudeen Aghaje, Others Emerge Excos In Newly Created Surulere NBA Branch

<h4>&NewLine;Barrister Salami Tajudeen Aghaje<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;"><strong>OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;strong><&sol;a> reports that Barrister Salami Tajudeen Aghaje and many others have emerged as executives in the newly created Nigerian Bar Association&comma; Surulere Branch&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The maiden election held last Friday&comma; July 12&comma; 2024 at the branch secretariat&comma; located at No&period;14 Babatunde Street&comma; off Ogunlana Drive&comma; Surulere&comma; Lagos State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The election was conducted by the Caretaker Committee of the new Branch which doubled as the Electoral Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr&period;Adeleke Agboola SAN&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The election&comma; according to information&comma; was hitch-free&comma; seamless and successful&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>At the end of the voting&comma; Barrister Anene Nwadukwe emerged as Chairman of the branch with Barrister Henry Obinna Ezeanyim as the Vice-Chairman&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To serve as the Secretary&comma; Barrister Enomma Umoren Mbanugo was elected while Barrister Raqeeba Oloko would function as an Assistant Secretary&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Barrister Salami Tajudeen Aghaje got elected as Financial Secretary while Barrister Maureen Ogochukwu Umejiego was elected as Treasurer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Others were Barrister Felicia Chikere Nosike as Welfare Secretary and Barrister Okuwobi Olusela Mayowa as Publicity Secretary&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The newly elected exco list inludes Barrister Florence Elwutasi Chajioke Daru as Social Secretary and Barrister Kingsley Enim Ehimar as Provost&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Chairman of the <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">Caretaker Committee<&sol;a> who doubled as the Chairman of the Electoral Committee thanked NBA Surulere Branch electorate for their co-operation in the peaceful conduct of the election&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He congratulated the winners and urged them to be magnanimous in victory&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He equally appreciated the losers for their gallantry in loss&comma; noting that failure is a postponed success&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Mr&period; Agboola further thanked the erstwhile Surulere Lawyers&&num;8217&semi; Forum for a smooth transition from a forum to a Branch which culminated in the election&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He wished the new NBA Surulere Branch Executives a very successful and impactful tenure&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Members of the Caretaker Committee are as follows&colon;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<em>1&period;Adeleke Agboola SAN&period;-Chairman<&sol;em><br &sol;>&NewLine;<em>2&period; Jane Asim-Ita Eng- Secretary<&sol;em><br &sol;>&NewLine;<em>3&period; His Honor Rosemary Akinbo&lpar;Rtd&rpar;- Member<&sol;em><br &sol;>&NewLine;<em>4&period; Chuks Collins Adimonye Esq&period;- Member<&sol;em><br &sol;>&NewLine;<em>5&period;Peter Ozobialu Esq- Member&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee&comma;Mr&period;Adeleke Agbola SAN&comma;on behalf of the Committee&comma;also thanked the President of Nigerian Bar Association&comma;Chonoko Maikyau SAN&comma;for the wonderful opportunity given to the Committee to serve NBA National in that capacity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
