<p>The abduction took place on Saturday morning in the Gindiri, Mangu LGA residence of the Commissioner.</p>
<p>Armed terrorists reportedly broke into the home and took away his wife and daughter.</p>

<p>It was not clear whether Bamaiyi was at home for the weekend when the terrorists came calling.</p>
<p>The Gindiri area has been a playground for terrorists in recent weeks, reports said.</p>
<p>Usman Bamaiyi is also one of the aspirants for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.</p>
