Bandits have kidnapped the wife and daughter of Plateau State Commissioner for Environment, Usman Bamaiyi.
The abduction took place on Saturday morning in the Gindiri, Mangu LGA residence of the Commissioner.
Armed terrorists reportedly broke into the home and took away his wife and daughter.
It was not clear whether Bamaiyi was at home for the weekend when the terrorists came calling.
The Gindiri area has been a playground for terrorists in recent weeks, reports said.
Usman Bamaiyi is also one of the aspirants for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
