OpenLife reports that father of the late singer Mohbad, has spoken out against viral claims that he is seeking house rent from Naira Marley and VeryDarkMan.

“I am a landlord — I own the house I live in. So, which rent am I supposed to pay?” he said.

He also addressed allegations that he accepted money from Naira Marley, saying, “If anyone has evidence or a receipt, let them bring it forward.” He called on the public to continue seeking justice for Mohbad, stressing that the truth about his death must come out.

Baba Mohbad raised concerns over the handling of forensic tests, revealing that a fake centre was used to conduct DNA and pathology investigations.

“They picked a fake centre so the truth won’t come out… Without DNA, my son cannot be buried. I beg the government to allow me to lay him to rest,” he added.

He further suggested moving the case from Lagos State to Ekiti State to ensure transparency and proper investigation.

Baba Mohbad’s words reflect a father’s deep grief and determination.

According to him, despite the lies and obstacles surrounding his son’s case, he remains committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served.
His plea is not only for his son but also a call to prevent such pain for others in the future.

The journey for answers continues, and his resolve shows the strength of a parent fighting for closure and truth.
