;

OpenLife reports that after regaining his freedom, veteran Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has finally addressed the controversy that has overshadowed his career.

In his first inâdepth media appearance since leaving prison, the actor gave a detailed interview on Talk to B, hosted by Biola Bayo, where he firmly denied the serious allegations that led to his conviction.

When asked to explain what really happened, Baba Ijesha strongly rejected the claims, stating: “I’m not a pedophile, I am not a rapist.”

He suggested that the conflict originated from personal betrayal rather than criminal behavior.

“Princess herself knows she has betrayed everyone, I have never done anything with her… The problem started where I declined the introduction Princess planned for me,” he added, highlighting a rift that contributed to his ordeal.

The actor also reflected on his past connection with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, noting:

“Iyabo Ojo has kept Priscilla and her brother in my custody before when they were younger.”

He emphasized that during that time, nothing improper occurred.
Authorities have clarified that Baba Ijesha’s release came after completing his sentence, not as a result of being cleared of the conviction.

This interview marks his most comprehensive public response since regaining his freedom, as he attempts to reclaim his narrative and move forward.
