OpenLife Nigeria reports that Barrister Olumide Braithwaite,the only surviving son of the elder statesman, Tunji Braithwaite, who was the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), campaigns during the last general elections was involved in a ghastly motor accident on Saturday, May 25 in Abuja.
In a release by Mr. Akin Kuponiyi, the lawyer survived the ghastly motor accident.
According to Kuponiyi, “The accident took place around 9am in the morning along the expressway by Central Bank of Nigeria headquarters in Abuja.
“It was a head-on collision with an armoured bullion van and his Toyota Hilux Pickup van.
“Emergency services responded swiftly and Barrister Olumide Braithwaite was immediately rushed to Garki Hospital for medical attention where he regained consciousness,” the release stated.
Further, the release quoted the Braithwaite’s family as saying that “He is in stable condition and receiving the best medical care in his Abuja home.”
