AMVCA Turns Sour As Chinwe Elibe Exposes Alleged N1.2 Million Fraud By Stylist

OpenLife reports that a tense fashion-related dispute has surfaced involving Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Chinwe Elibe, who has publicly accused a stylist known as Prince Innovations of allegedly defrauding her and a friend of a total of N1.2 million ahead of the AMVCA event.

According to Chinwe, the arrangement began when she and her friend reached out to the stylist to handle their red-carpet outfits.

Trusting his professionalism, they reportedly made full payment in advance, expecting their outfits to be delivered on time for the prestigious ceremony.

However, she alleged that communication from the stylist suddenly stopped after the money was sent.

The situation escalated when, contrary to expectations, she and her friend reportedly encountered him at the AMVCA venue.

Chinwe expressed shock at seeing him in person despite the unresolved transaction and claims of being ignored.

She stated that she personally lost N800,000 while her friend, Ruthie, was allegedly defrauded of N400,000.

Visibly upset, Chinwe took to expressing her frustration in strong terms, saying:

“So, guys, this is the face of the thief. This guy scammed me of N800,000 and scammed Ruthie of N400,000, in the name of styling us for AMVCA outfits.

So he came to the AMVCA, because he didn’t expect us to come. His cup is full, his name is Prince Innovations. You want to be popular, welcome to stardom”.

The incident has since stirred conversations online, with many reacting to the allegations and the confrontation that unfolded around one of the entertainment industry’s biggest nights.
