“Allow Me To Move On”-Yinka Theisen To Linc Edochie

OpenLife reports that Yinka Theisen has broken her silence, addressing her ex, Linc Edochie, in a heartfelt social media post calling for closure and urging him to stop publicly revisiting their breakup.

The post comes nearly a year after their engagement ended.

“My darling Linc, at my age I am too old to play games. There have been several occasions where you have announced on social media that your relationship with me is over.

Either directly or indirectly. It has been almost a year since our relationship broke up and the people who oppose your brother cheer you on. Biko, for Christ sake, we have heard.

Allow me to move on. Our engagement did not even last two months. I should be the least of your problems. You have two very beautiful young girls that need you. Before me, you were married to a woman for 11 years. You & I are not new to divorce and break ups. It is okay, we have heard. You have…”

Theisen makes it clear that she wants an end to the online drama, pointing out that even long-term marriages that end in divorce don’t constantly air grievances publicly.

“Moved on. Even people who were married for many years and divorce don’t keep announcing it. I don’t hate you. I never will and you communicated that you don’t hate me too. We have both discussed the kind of woman you seek and it is not someone like me. We have both communicated about how we hurt each other.

I have apologized and you keep blaming me for everything. Okay I agree. I am to blame 100 percent. Now can we both move on for Christ sake!!!? No need for the passive aggression any more.”

She emphasizes personal growth and prayers for both their futures:

“May God bless you and I wish you well from the bottom of my heart. Move on so people don’t keep mentioning me under your posts. Your worth is more than people supporting you and cheering you over a broken relationship, either ours or that of your younger brother. I pray you find what/who you are looking for as I pray so for myself.

No hard feelings!! I wish I could turn back time, trust me I would not have gotten close. However, I can’t. You mentioned recently that I tried to destroy your career.

I am sorry and I pray God will restore all the damages I caused in your life. Again, I am sorry. Please take care and may Oluwa mega bless you. PS it is lent and I need to focus on what is important now!”

Her message blends accountability, forgiveness, and faith, highlighting the importance of moving on, letting go of grudges, and prioritizing self-healing over public drama.
