Alexer Peres Blasts Ekene Umenwa Over Destiny Etiko Fallout
OpenLife Nigeria reports that fresh drama is rocking Nollywood as rising actress Alexer Peres, ex-wife of singer Harrysong, publicly called out colleague Ekene Umenwa over her reported fallout with actress Destiny Etiko.
According to Alexer, the tension began on a movie set after Destiny handed her a lead role instead of Ekene’s younger sister, who was also present during filming. What should have been a career milestone allegedly spiraled into behind-the-scenes rivalry and damaged relationships.
Alexer claims Ekene was displeased with the casting decision and allegedly reached out to Destiny with accusations that strained their once-friendly bond.
She also stated that despite never meeting Ekene face-to-face and not even following her on Instagram, she was mysteriously blocked.
In a fiery social media post, Alexer didn’t hold back.
“Finally God has brought out the truth
Madam Jesus second mother
Evil in disguise The major reason I fell out with destiny etiko was her and her kid sister, that one went to lie to her her madam Jesus second mother sister The next thing she blocked me on ig mind you I haven’t met her before in my life, and I wasn’t even following her, but I like and watch her movies sometimes, it was her sister I met on set, this actress wasn’t happy I was giving lead role while her sister was there, she called destiny to spoil me to her Omo I’m not surprised I only prayed that one day, everything will come out and this is the day.
Pretenders do the worst
It is well Plus all the things the sister said about destiny to me I don’t know if she thought I would tell destiny about it Na once dem spoil my name”
Alexer insists she stayed silent for a long time, hoping the truth would eventually surface. Now, with emotions running high, the controversy has sparked fresh conversations about rivalry, loyalty, and competition in the Nigerian film industry.
As fans await possible responses from Ekene or Destiny, one thing is clear Nollywood’s drama isn’t staying on screen.
