Ahmed Tinubu Trouble: Osoba Meets IBB

Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos governor’s trouble has necessitated reversal of actions within his camp
OpenLife Nigeria reports that following the fresh trouble for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his 2023 presidential aspiration, his think tank and core loyalists have detoured to alternative roles to rescue him from going to jail.
Among his core loyalist is Segun Osoba, a former governor of Ogun and top All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholder.
Fresh trouble began for Ahmed Tinubu when a letter written and signed by the new chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa requesting the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB to furnish it with details of Tinubu’s alleged fraud, was made public.
In the letter dated November 6, 2020, EFCC requested CCB to furnish the commission with the outstanding requested information of Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, pursuant to Section 38(1) and (2) of the EFCC Act 2004.
EFCC official confirmed that the request is sequel to some petitions written against Tinubu since 2018 which Magu had failed to act on, adding that the anti craft agency is in receipt of several petitions against Tinubu including one involving alleged fraud in Alpha Beta Consulting.

Many public affairs analysts view the development to Aso Rock’s determination to edge out Ahmed Tinubu from the 2023 presidential racial in which he has shown tremendous interest.
To save the situation, Segun Osoba, who had earlier scheduled an appointment to seek the former military President Ibrahim Babangida’s support in Minna for Ahmed Tinubu presidential support, has adjusted his mission to the Hill Top mansion.
This time, OpenLife Nigeria gathers that rather than seek IBB’s buy-in into Tinubu’s ambition, he is billed to be in Minna in the next few days to seek his intervention in the Tinubu’s trouble specifically “soft landing.”
“Like I told you before, Osoba will be in Minna in the next few days to plead with IBB to intervene in the Ahmed Tinubu trouble. He was supposed to go and seek support for the 2023 presidency for Ahmed Tinubu. The private jet that will take him to Minna has been arranged already. But that has to wait for now because of Ahmed Tinubu fresh trouble. Villa wants to arrest his freedom and he cannot escape it. They want to puncture his presidential ambition. It is not who is free that will contest election?” our credible source asked rhetorically
