<h4>Ahead December Presidential Poll</h4>
<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that ahead the December 7 presidential contest in Ghana, President Nana Akufo-Addo has effected strategic changes in his cabinet.</p>
<p>According to insiders, this move is aimed to strengthen his New Patriotic Party, NPP, a centre-right and liberal-conservative political party in Ghana. Since the democratisation of Ghana in 1992.</p>
<p>The NPP has Mahamudu Bawumia as its nominee in the December election while National Democratic Congress, NDC, a centre left political party and and NPP&#8217;s leading rival, has John Mahama as its nominee for same election.</p>
<p>According to information made available to OpenLife, President Akufo-Addo has undertaken the following changes to the regional composition of his government.</p>
<p>Effectively and immediately, the Upper East Regional Minister, Honourable Stephen Yakubu, will assume the role of Upper West Regional Minister.</p>
<p>Similarly, the Upper West Regional Minister, Hafiz Bin Salih, will become the new Upper East Regional Minister.</p>
<p>The statement clarified that the changes are part of President Akufo-Addo’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance across the country, and has tasked the Ministers to work tirelessly to promote the welfare and development of the people of Upper West and Upper East regions, respectively.</p>
