OpenLife Nigeria reports that African frontline philanthropist and business man of repute, Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has inspired confidence and future optimism through a robust donation to Accra High School.

At the Centenary celebration of the school,
Ambassador Amadu, founder and president of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, showcased his strong commitment to education and community support.

As part of the centenary celebrations at Accra High School on November 18th, 2023, Ambassador Salamu Amadu exemplified his dedication by generously donating a laptop to the school’s overall best student, recognizing academic excellence unequivocally.

The initiative at Accra High School was prompted by a call for assistance from the school’s leadership, seeking Ambassador Salamu’s support.

In response, he pledged to reward the highest-performing student in the West African Certificate of Secondary Education (WACCE).

In an interview, Ambassador Amadu emphasized his belief in the youth as future leaders and stressed the crucial role of education as the foundation for their success.

The laptop donation, he stated, is aimed to recognize and support the dedication and excellence of the best student, directly contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4.

Notably, Ambassador Salamu Amadu’s commitment extends beyond academics.
It encompasses community and cultural celebrations.

His donation of 10,000 exercise books during the National Chief Imam’s milestone birthday reflects a holistic approach to philanthropy, emphasizing the interconnectedness of education and communal well-being.

He firmly believes that sustainable development goals can be achieved through collective efforts and meaningful contributions to education and community welfare.
